THAILAND’S ARMED FORCES
TANK HEADQUARTERS ESTABLISHED IN CEDED AREA OF CAMBODIA (Rec. 1.45 p.m.) Bangkok, Aug. 5. It is officially announced to-day that tank headquarters for Thailand's eastern armed forces have been established at Battambang. which is in the Cambodia are recently ceded by Indo-China and only 35 miles from Siemreap, at which Japanese forces were established yesterday. Contingents of mechanised troops have al - ready been despatched to Battambang. —TT P A
