Moscow radio quotes a report from i Geneva that wounded Germans are being spread over German-occupied j Europe and that 18 to 20 trainloads oi wounded are arriving in Germany j every day. The “Frankfurter Zeitung” in a I leading article states: "Germany realises that she must fight hard and face (sacrifices before a decision is reached in the east, but the defeat of Russia must be reached without giving Britain the satisfaction of knowing that it is achieved at the cost of the army’s complete exhaustion.” The writer concludes: “A further .extension of the war would be unfavourable to Germany, and therefore Germany is not interested in the proj blems which are dangerously piling up( in the Far East.”—P.A.
