CARD PARTY AT POIIARA A very successful card parly giver by Mrs S. Taylor and Mrs MacFarlane of the Pohara Women’s Institute, a Mrs Taylor’s home, helped considerably, to swell the funds for the purchase o. soldiers’ parcels. Cards and competitions were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Mrs Cross was successfu at the card tables, the consolation prize going to Mrs G. Richmond.
