An Air Ministry communique states: ! "Aircraft of the Fighter Command again i carried out many offensive operations • over the Channel and Northern France I to-day (Sunday) A large number of | enemy objectives were attacked, patrol | vessels, aircraft on the ground, troops. * J gun-posts and an aerodrome raked with 1 j machine-gun and cannon fire from a i • iow level. Four enemy fighters were j shot down and one of ours is missing.” I ACTIVITY OVER BRITAIN An oflicial communique states that • early this afternoon enemy aircraft j dropped bombs at a place on the south- ; cast coast.
