FLAG 500 EVENING Another enjoyable Flag 500 was held jin the Marina Tea Room in aid of the j funds for soldiers’ parcels. The social committee were pleased to announce i that funds were available for 71 par ■ cels for June and Julv, making 171 for i this year. The winners during the evening were Mr and Mrs Holmes, Mrs Powrie and i Mr Doidge, while second prizes went to Mesdames Stewart, Brunt, Conibear : and Topliss. The travelling prizes ; were won by Mr Holmes. Mr Doidge. Mrs Pellow and Mrs Winstanley. Mr Fergusson won the special prize. After a dainty supper Mrs J. Dayman prei suited the prizes and thanked the M.C., i Mr A. Hollyman, and all who had at- ! tended and so helped to raise money
