NELSON POULTRY ASSOCIATION

CARD EVENING Members and friends of the Nelson Poultry, Pigeon and Canary Association spent another successful and enjoyable evening at the Marina Tearooms playing the popular game of “Flag 500.” Mrs S. F. Hockey, wife of the president of the association, on behalf of the association, expressed her thanks and appreciation to all those present and hoped that they would again attend at the next social. She then presented the winning prizes to Mrs Hollyman and partner and Mr Williams and partner. The consolation prizes went to Mrs Burns, Mrs A. Baigent, Mrs Scott and Mrs Newport. The specials were won by Mrs Boyce and Mr C. Stone. Mrs Hollyman’s partner and Mr C. Stone generously returned their prizes to be contested at the next social evening. Mr A. Hollyman with the assistance of Mr H. Hockey carried out the duties of M.C.
