The German radio reports that the British liner Arundel Castle suddenly caught fire off Barvun Reef, New South Wales, and was abandoned by the passengers and crew. Tlie Arundel Castle, of 19,118 tons gross, was a Union Castle Mail Steam Shin Company twin-screw steamer built in 1921 by Harland and Wolff Ltd., Belfast.
