GARDEN OF PEACE

Large gangs of expert gardeners are at work putting finishing touches to the Garden of Peace to be inaugurated in Canada. It is cited in the heart of the Turtle Mountains of Manitoba and North Dakota. A great cairn, indicating that it stands on the international boundary between Canada and the United States, bears the following inscription: “To God in His Glory. We two nations dedicate this garden and pledge ourselves that as long as man shall live we will not take up arms against one another.”
