Philadelphia University has started a “course in motion picture appreciation.” It comes under the heading of “hobby courses.” Y Y Y Y Spencer Tracy must be well again. M.G.M. are announcing him for quantities of pictures. One is “A Gun in His Hand.” Another is “New York Cinderella” with Hedy LaMarr. Y Y Y Y Deanna Durbin is causing her studio great concern because she is growing so fast. She is already five feet and a half. Her voice, however, has developed amazingly since her last picture, and her ambition to appear one day on the boards of the Metropolitan Opera House does not seem too fantastic.
