He was a special grrome whom the King of the Faries had appointed to watch events. Of course, when calamity overtook the two Chums, he flew back to the King with the terrible news. The King and Gwen were seated together in a glade. You can imagine their astonishment md dismay—especially Gwen's! She is fearful that she will never see Richard and Ted again. But the King of the Fairies is not beaten yet. Just you wait and see!
