CANADIAN OFFICERS

FOR ROYAL AIR FORCE ARRIVAL IN ENGLAND [British Official Wireless] RUGBY, sth November. Nine pilot officers, trained in the Royal Canadian Air Force for the R.A.F., have arrived at England. They are the first draft of short service commission officers to arrive afyter completing their flying training under the new Anglo-Canadian cadet training scheme. The scheme provides for fifteen selected officers to receive one year’s training with the Royal Canadian Air Force each year. They then come to Britain and serve for five years on the short service basis. At the conclusion of their R.A.F. service, the officers are transferred to the Royal Canadian Air Force Reserve for a further four years.
