HAND CRUSHED BY HAMMER

YOUTH LOSES FOUR FINGERS Getting his hand caught under a compressed air hammer at the Anchor Foundry, Port Nelson, yesterday, Stanley M. Blanche, aged 17 years, of Hampden street W, suffered from injuries which necessitated his removal to the Public Hospital. Four fingers of the left hand which were badly crushed were amputated.

The patient’s condition to-day was reported to be satisfactory.
