LAMBS VERY FIRM Lamb market: Very linn with spot stocks still short, Old season's exhausted. Small quantity of new season’s, ex Hertford, selling at 9jd ex hooks. Mutton market: Wethers and ewes firmer owing to smaller prospective supplies. Beef market: Frozen beef, steady trade at unchanged prices. Chilled beef, hindquarters shade firmer; fores unchanged.

The above report was received on Friday by the Meat Board from its London office which advises that the following are the ruling prices of wholesale quantities of the descriptions of frozen meat mentioned and are for representative parcels of the goods sold on Thursday.
