There was a large attendance and the track was in good the track soft. Results: — Debutant Stakes, of £ 100; four and a-half furlongs—4 Surmount, 8.5 (G. Tattersall), 1; 1 Protector, 8.5, 2; 8 Diana Tetrix, 8.0, 3. Scratched: Fabric. Won by a length and a half; five lengths. Time, 53 3-5. " Gonville Hack Hurdles, of £140; one and ■ three-quarter miles. —1 Donegal, 11.4 (R. E. Thomson), 1; 3 Trackman, 10.6, 2; 6 Otaki, 9.0, 3. All started. Won by one and a half lengths, three lengths. Time, 3.12 1-5. WELLINGTON TROTTING CLUB WELLINGTON, This Day. For the Wellington Trotting Club’s meeting the weather was overcast and the track slot. Results]— Nai Nai Handicap, of £150; 3.39 class; one and a half miles. —5-3 Debutante, 24 yds bhd, 1; 4-6 Winnie Parrish, scr, 2; 3-4 Dark Hazard, scr. 3. Won by two lengths, one length. 'Time, 3.38 4-5. i Hutt Park Trial, of £130; 3.43 class; one and a half miles.—2-1 Taruna, scr, 1; 8-6 Adversity, scr, 2; 4-8 Snowy Bingen, scr, 3. Won by half a length, four lengths. Time, 3.37. Scratched: Desperado. Rhine Gold. A judicial inquiry disqualified Dark Hazard for excessive galloping in the straight in the Nai Nai Handicap. Third place was awarded to Indolent. Bollard Memorial Handicap, of £350; 4.33 class; two miles. —5-5 Ironside, scr, 1; 2-4 Frisco Lady, scr, 2; 3-2 Lady Fame, 12 yds bhd, 3.
