APPEAL BY SPAIN
ITALIAN ATTACKS ON REPUBLICAN SHIPS CONSIDERATION BY LEAGUE COUNCIL fUnited Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph— Copyrigbtl (Received 11th September, 2 p.m.) GENEVA. 10th September. The League Council agreed to consider the Spanish appeal charging Italy with attacking Republican ships. Mr Anthony Eden, British Foreign Minister, promised to make a statement on Palestine. The Council adjourned until 14lh September to enable delegates to attend the Nyon Conference.
