HOSPITAL DEFEAT VICTORY In a cricket match played between Hospital and Victory on Saturday Victory were short of several of their players but Hospital sportingly fielded for them throughout the game. Hospital won the toss and elected to bat. compiling 125 runs, their chief scorers being; Hibbert 26, Morrison 10. Winnie 33, Grey 15, W. Dickenson 17. Bowling for Victory: Reid took one wicket for 21 runs, Alborough four for 20, Day four for 40, Clark one for 11. Victory replied with 82 runs, their chief scorers being Clark 35, Day 22, Coxhill 16. Bowling for Hospital: Winnie took one wicket for 11 runs, Sherlock none for 17, Best four for 32, Thomas one for 16. Hospital gained a 4 point win on the first innings.
