DOYEDALE

JUNIOR BRANCH W.D.F.U. The monthly meeting of the Dovedale junior branch was held as follows with Miss Verle Burnett, vice-president in the chair. The meeting opened with the creed. There were, 12 members present also members of the senior branch. The members had much pleasure in meeting Mrs Forsyth, president of the Nelson Provincial Executive. The resignation of the president, Miss Connie Win was accepted with much regret. Miss Verle Burnett was then elected president and Miss Mona Win vice-president. It was decided to send a small donation to the Health Camp. The president, Miss Verie Burnett presented Mrs Forsyth wit ha bouquet. Mrs Forsyth gave a most intere-ting address and at the conclusion' Miss Verle Burnett passed a vote of • hanks to Mrs Forsyth and Mrs P. Jordan spoxe or. behalf of the senior branch The competitions were then judged by -Mrs Forsyth. The result was. For the best dress Miss Florrie Burnett 1, and Miss Rona Win 2. The flower competition , Miss Marjorie Jordan 1, and Miss Connie Win 2. The guessing competition was won by Miss Rona Win. The hostesses were Misses M. Win, L. Biggs and Hilda Burnett.
