It is disclosed that Mrs Davies, wife of the United States Ambassador to Russia, purchased 2000 pints of cream which she will ship to her Moscow residence, in which 25 electric refrigerators will be installed for keeping it. The Russian Consul chuckled when informed of the purchase. He remarked: “I am sure that there is already an adequate supply of milk in Moscow, despite the popular belief that there are no cows.”
