ILLEGAL COMMUNIST ACTIVITY SEVERAL PERSONS SENTENCED (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) BERLIN, 16th December. Newspapers report the mass trials of men and women charged with carrying on illegal Communist activity, which is occurring all over Germany. Six persons were sentenced at Lubeck to terms of imprisonment ranging from 8 to 15 years, sixteen at Dusseldorf from 2 to 9 years, 26 at Munich from 1 to 5 years.
