TENDERS FOR CAPITAL SHIPS
NEXT YEAR’S PROGRAMME (Received 17th December, 9.45 a.m.) LONDON, 16th December. Sir Samuel Hoare, First Lord of the Admiralty, announced in the House of Commons that he was placing orders for new machinery for H.M.S. Valiant and H.M.S. Queen Elizabeth and inviting tenders for capital ships for 1937 programme.
