JUNIOR REPRESENTATIVES TO VISIT PICTON The Marlborough Association has invited the Nelson juniors to pay the annual visit to Marlborough at New Year and play Marlborough at Picton on New Year’s Day. The selector has chosen the following players, who are requested to notify the selector (Mr G. Coleman) or the secretary (Mr J. McKay) immediately whether they can make the trip: Dee, Johnson, Talbot, Hull, Kelly, Baird, Reid, Young, Allison, Bray, Hobern, Lord. COLTS’ TOUR TO NORTH .ISLAND The Association has now decided to proceed with the above tour, although a number of players are not available. It is expected that the matches will be v. Hawkes Bay on Ist and 2nd January, Wairarapa sth and 6th January, and Wellington on 7th and Bth January. The following players have already been definitely selected and the team will be finalised probably to-day: H. M. McGirr (Athletic), W. A. Smith (Old Boys), W. Irvine, J. Thorp (College), M. Fowler (Dovedale), H. Fowler (Riwaka), D. Glover and A. W. Mcllwraith (Wakatu). Old Boys’ seniors v. Wakatu at Park 2 p.m. on Saturday: Alloo, Blineoe, Busch, McKay, Neale, Newman (3), Nightingale, Symes.
