DEADLOCK OVERCOME y (By Telegraph—Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, 19th June. The deadlock caused by the North Taranaki Rugby referees' refusing, to referee matches because the Rugny Union suspended all privilege passes tc representative matches has been overcome, at least temporarily. A conference between the two bodies resulted in the union agreeing to referees using passes for the next representative match, after which the position will oe reviewed by the union and the referees’ association.
