NELSON CITY COUNCIL ' Notice of Special Older Making a Bylaw IYTOTICE is hereby given that at a ’ Special Meeting of the Nelson City Council held on the 9th day of June, 1936, IT WAS RESOLVED by way of Special Order that the Council make and ordain a Bylaw to be known as “The Nelson City Bylaw No. 16 (1936).” The object and purport of the said By-law is as follows: (1) To repeal that paragraph of Section (3) of Bylaw No. 7 (1924) which provides that each tenement, set of apartments or suite of rooms shall for the purposes of that Bylaw be deemed to be a separate dwelling house. (2) To repeal Section 13 of the Bylaw No. 7 C 1924). (3) To repeal Section 14 of Bylaw No. 7 (1924) and to provide that it shall be an offence to fail to observe any of the provisions of the said Bylaw. (4) To amend Subsection (b), Section 15, of Bylaw No. 7 (1924) by correcting the references therein to the Municipal Corporations Act. (5) To amend Section 469 of Bylaw No. 1 (1916) by providing that it shall be an offence to fail to observe any condition imposed under the said Section. NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN that the said resolution to make such Bylaw will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held at the Council Chamber, Selwyn Place, Nelson, on Thursday, the 16th day of July, 1936, at 7.30 p.m. A copy of the proposed Bylaw is deposited at the office of the Town Clerk, Trafalgar Street, Nelson, and is open to the inspection of the public during office hours until the meeting at which the said resolution is to be confirmed.
