A MEDICAL ASSOCIATION’S SCHEME
(To The Editor) Sir, —In your issue of last Friday Mr Dagger, chairman of the Hospital Board, denounced a scheme that ihe newly-formed Medical Association put before the said Board. Either Mr Dagger was misinformed as to our aim, or does not know what it is. We simply asked that a bed be allocated to the medical branch formed by the Motueka Aerodrome and we were prepared to pay for same. nl our case we were prepared to allot a fixed sum per month irrespective whether there were patients in Motueka Hospital or not. I may also state that our object is to link up all Public Works relief workers, and in fact anybody who would care to join up with the said branch which is operating at present, and we are helping ourselves which should be a true lesson to Mr Dagger. —I am. etc.. FOUNDER MEDICAL ASSOCIATION Motueka, 16th June.
