CANON JAMES APPOINTED [By Telegraph—Press Association] WELLINGTON. This Day. Canon Percival James has been appointed by the Archbishop of New Zealand, the Most Rev. A. W. AveriH,- to be his commissary to administer the Wellington diocese after 31st January when the resignation of Bishop Sprott takes effect. Canon James will administer the affairs, of the diocese until the consecration and enthronement of the new bishop, Archdeacon H. St. B. Holland of Warwick, England, who is expected to arrive towards the end of July.
