The remainder lied. Dedjazmatch Slialie killed the leader and 800 Askaris.
All these raids preceded the four day battle in Tembien, after which Bus Kassu's and Has Seyoiiin's troops divided into hundreds of small groups and resumed harassing the invaders, who ineffectually retorted with mountain guns. *
ON SOUTHERN FRONT
RED CROSS HOSPITAL CAPTURED ('Received 20th Jammrv, 12.10 p.m.) ROME, 28th January.
