QUESTION OF TRANSPORT CONFERENCE OF HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS [By Telegraph—Press Asscfciation] WELLINGTON, This Day. A conferense of heads of State departments concerned iii transport matters called by the Minister of Transport (the lion. R. Semple) is being held today. The main purpose of the conference is to have a preliminary discussion of the problems involved and to draw up an agenda paper for a general conference of all transport interests that it is proposed to convene a little later. “The whole question of transport,” stated the Minister, “is bristling with difficulties and anomalies that will have to be straightened out.”
