DEATH ON THE GALLOWS
MOTHER OF NINE CHILDREN POISONING OF THIRD HUSBAND (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) OTTAWA, 18th December. A message from Woodstock, Ontario, states that Mrs Elizabeth ’1 ilford (56), mother of nine children, died on the gallows at the comity goal here to-day for poisoning her third husband. She is the first woman hanged in Ontario lor 62 years.
