Levin and Coy., Ltd., Wellington report under date 13th inst.: — We held our fortnightly sale of hides, skins and tallow to-day. There was the usual attendance of buyers. We quote: Hides.—Lights, and mediums £d to £d higher. Heavies, unchanged. Kip, yearling and calf unchanged. Ox, 331bs to 4411 is 4£d to 6£d, 45-52 4£d to 6id, 53-59 s|d to 63d, 60-69 6|d to 7£d, 701bs and over 6fd; cow, 33-39 4fd to s|d, 40-48 4d to 6d, 491bs, and over 3|d to 6d.; kip, 25-32 5d to 17-24 3Jd to 6fd; yearling 11-16 s£d to Bgd; calf 9-10 6J,d to B|d, '6-8 3J,d to 9d, 1-5 B|d to 10|d. Sheepskins.—Dry, £d lower. Halfbred 8d to 101 d, fine crossbred 9§d, medium crossbred s|d to 9jd, coarse crossbred 6d to B|d, half wools to 9d, quarter wools 2Jd to 6£d, pelts 2J)d to s|d.
