BRITISH EXCHEQUER RETURNS

INCREASE IN REVENUE (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, 17th December. Exchequer returns show that total ordinary revenue, excluding selfbalancing items, amounts to £411,460,690 compared with £393,863,147 at the corresponding date last year. Total inland revenue is £158,792,000 against £152,638,000 in the same period of the last year. Total, ordinary expenditure, exclusive of self-balancing items, is £524,208,924 against £504,906,818 at the corresponding date 1934.
