WELLINGTON RUGBY COLTS
TOUR OF SEDDON SHIELD DISTRICTS The Wellington Colts’ Rugby team, which arrived in Nelson this morning and continued to Motueka, will make a tour of the Seddon Shield districts and will may games against Golden Bay-Mo-tueka, JJuller, West Coast, and Marlborough. Mr H. Simmonds, of the Wellington Rugby Union, is manager, while K. Reid, captain of the Wellington representative team last year in the absence in Australia of F. 0. Kilby, will captain the team. The complement of players was finalised following the trial game on Saturday between a. Colts’ team and the second division and senior B representatives. The final selection made by Mr M. F. Nicholls is as follows: — Backs: Creswell (Wellington), Forbes (Athletic), Maunders (Hutt), Hudson (Petone), McGurk (Petone), Walling (Eastbourne), Spence (Petone), Langdon (Marist Bros’. Old Boys), Greenbank (Ilutt). Forwards: Saulbrey (Hutt), M. Wright (College Old Boys). Waite (Eastbourne), Pringle (Poneke), Reid (Petone), McLean (Wellington), Carter (Petone), Chesterman (University), McLean (Marist Bros.’ Old Boys), Cleland (Petone).
