The trio left Shanghai recently in a small sailing boat for a long cruise, touching at the Philippines, New 1 'Guinea, and possibly Australia, eventually proceeding to Coco's Island seeking to salvage, it is alleged, a gold cargo staid to be sunk there. The Formosan authorities, however, claim that the Americans arc really naval officers and were caught photographing a fortified zone.
