Mr Frederick Kennare was admitted to Nelson Hospital last evening suffering a broken leg, the result of an accident in Collingwood street. Mr Kennare, at about 8 p.ni. during a heavy shower of rain, was pushing a- wheelbarrow loaded with furniture when a ear driven by Mr A. Kerr approached. The driver apparently could not detect the wheelbarow until close to it and a collision occurred, resulting in the injury to Mr Kennare.
