FOR SAVILE CUP (By Telegraph—Press Associative) ' CAMBRIDGE, This Day. The Savile Cup Polo Tournament in which twenty teams representing Hawke’s Bay, Rangitikei, Te Awamutu, Matangi, Matamata, and Cambridge Clubs are taking part, opened at Cambridge this morning in georgous weather. The ground is in good condition, slightly holding after rain. The results of the first match for tire Junior Cup were ; Matangi B (C. Bryant, E. Fergusson, R. Ranslead, and R. Hinton) 9; Matamata B (J. Elliott, C. Given, L. Moore and F. Klaus) 4. This afternoon s contest for the Savile Cup will commence with Te. Awamutu playing Cambridge, and Hawkes Bay meeting Matangi.
