INFLUENZA EPIDEMIC

RAGING THROUGHOUT FRANCE (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) PARIS, 15th February. It was revealed in the Chamber of Deputies that fifty soldiers had (already died bv sth February of influenza, which is raging throughout France. In the barracks at Rcuilly alone there were eight hundred cases, and 170 soldiers and sailors arc in Cherbourg Hospital. Many schools are closed owing to the epidemic. Ecareely a family in Paris has escaped, though the attacks are generally mild.
