Codos and Rossi left Marseilles on a non-stop flight to Rio de Janeiro, flying the veteran ’plane with which they established a long distance record from New York to Rayak in August, 1933. DAKAR, 10th February. Codos and Rossi wirelessed that they may he forced down in the Atlantic owing to the failing of oil pressure when midway between Cape Verde islands and Saint Paul Isle. They turned baek to Cape Verde when 700 miles from Cape Verde. A British vessel is nearby, and a French seaplane has been sent to assist. , (Received 18th February, 9.25 a.m.) LONDON, 17th February. Codos and Rossi landed at Cape Verde islands.
