HUNTIQUE DESTROYED
VALUABLE GELDING FOUND SHOT (By Telegraph—Press Association) BLENHEIM, This Day. The gelding Hnntique, which won the National Hurdles last year was found in a paddock near Waterlea racecourse yesterday with the bone of its hind leg shattered by a bullet. The animal had to he destroyed. The manner in which the injury was sustained is a mystery but empty shells of two .30.5 cartridges were found nearby.
