In the Sheffield Shield cricket match Qupeensland in the first innings made 261 runs (Levy 27. Sides 68, Ilensen 63, Tallon 40). Theak took two wickets for 74 runs, Chilvers four for 68, White two for 33. New South Wales in the second innings lost three wickets for 146 runs (Marks not out 57. Robinson not out 52).
AN INTERESTING MATCH
ADELAIDE. 17th February
In the Sheffield Shield match Victoria in the -first innings made 200 runs. South Australia in the second innings lost three for 173 (V. Richardson 58, L onergan not .out 59. Moyle not out 45). The game is in an interesting position due to both States having scored '2OO in the first innings.
