A SIX-YEAR OLD PRODIGY

A marvellous future is prophesied for a young son of a Jewish couple in New York. At the age of 20 months he learned the alphabet, and soon he was reciting it backward. At the age of four he taught himself to read, and he could add four columns of figures at a glance at the time his teacher showed him how to write the figure 2.
