MISSING BRIDEGROOM
• ; NEWLAND NOT FOUND A MAKESHIFT CAMP (Bv Telegraph—Preßs Association) STRATFORD, This Day. A makeshift camp containing bread, pickles, carrots and sacks was found near the home of the missing bridegroom. Newland, yesterday. Pickles and bread were taken from the homestead. There is no trace of Newland. There is still no trace of Stanley Thomas Newland, aged 22 years, who disappeared from Midhirst* while the guests were waiting at Stratford Presbyterian Church for his wedding ceremony, timed to take p!ac e at II o’clock. An hour before that he could not bo found, and bis car was found abandoned in Beaconsfield road. Nowla nd is clean shaven, has blue eyes and brown hair, is about sft lOin in height, and of medium build.
