WAIMEA ASSOCIATION RICHMOND V. lIELGItOVE The second round of matches of the Waimea Cricket Association Was commenced on Saturday when Richmond met Belgrove at Richmond. Belgrove batted first on a tricky wicket and were dismissed for tho small total of 71, A. Baigent 23, and W. Fowler 16 being the only batsmen to make double figures. A. Giblin five for 12, and E. Rogers three for 11, bowled very Well. Richmond in their first knock fared even worse than their opponents, being ail dismissed for 46, Hnslcr 11 and Potter 9 being the highest scorers. Bowling well for Belgrove, Jenkins took five for 12, and A. Baigent five for 30. Belgrove in their second innings lost five wickets for 21, Wells two for 1, and Giblin two for 8, taking the wickets. The match is now in an interesting stage with an even chance of either team securing an outright win. The following are the scores:—
