POLICY OF CHEAP CREDIT

Germain Martin, Finance Minister, admitted in an interview that a policy of cheap credit would now be inaugurated. M. Flandin, Prime Minister, himself inspired by the British exmaple, said : “Our conception has already been tested in practice in England where London’s vast financial market may he regarded as a model. Our financial policy, aided by the improvement in international relationships, should allow the country to escape from a period of stagnation which otherwise would lead inevitably to monetary troubles.
