FINES AT TIMARU (By Telegraph—Press Association) TIMARU. This Day. At the Magistrate’s Court fines totalling £55 were imposed on two Waimate men for breaches of the Gaming Act. John Joseph Ryan was fined £ls and costs on a first charge and £lO on a second; and Richard Yesberg was fined £2K,) on one charge and £lO on a second.
