Messrs \\. .1. Smith, G. R. Russell and W. Gay who were admitted to Nelson Hospital as the result of a re cent motor accident at ’Oldham's CreeU bridge, have all been discharged from hospital and have now almost recover-! from Ihr ir injuries. The Hon. Adam Hamilton, Minister for Employment and Postmaster General, passed through Christchurch on Tuesday on his wav to his home in Southland. Mr Hamilton, who has been resting for the last fortnight after a brief illness, is looking and feeling better than he has been for some time, but lie hopes to spend a week or so in the south to complete ids convalescence before ret liming to Wellington.
