Scratched—Othon, Star Shell, Olympic, Lady Gay, Gambler, American Pillar, Sheerer. "Won by three lengths, half a length between second and third horses. Time, 2.52 4-5. Puhi Maiden Plate, of 100 sovs, six furlongs—l Chief Singer 1. 5 Cloyne 2, 2 Chopin, 3. Scratched—Fallow, Thrift, Cavity, Atasan, Theresa Bell, Wayford, Dancing Star. Won by two and a half lengths, half a length between second and third horses. Time 1.15.
Katiliiku Hack Handicap, of 150 sovs; seven furlongs—3 Maui, 8.7, 1; 12 Royal Acre, 8.7, 2; 5 Discourse, 9.0, 3. Scratched: Moutoa Treasury, Bissac, Teremnana, Won by two lengths, half a length between second and third horses. Time, 1.27 4-5. OTAHUTiU TROTTING CLUB AUCKLAND, This Day. The weather was fine and there was a fair attendance for the finafefay of the Otahuhu Trotting Club's meeting. Results : Innovation Handicap, of 300 sovs ; 450 class, two miles —4 Royal Bob, 36 yards behind (Milieu) 1; 1 Billy Carbine, 72 yards behind, 2; 6 Don Zolock, set'., 3. Scratched, Mokanna. Won by three lengths. Time 4.53. Epsom Handicap, of 300 sovs; 3.31 class, one mile and a half—2 Warplane, scr. (Shaw) 1; 1 St. Bridget, 12 yards behind, 2; 13 Concertina, 24 yards behind, 3.
