It is. announced that the father of James Warner (who accompanied Kings-ford-Smith on his Pacific night) supposed to have died thirty years ago, still lives. Captain Kingsford Smith's companion recently* received a letter signed, "Charles Warner," which said: "Please come' and see me. I'm ill. I think I am your father." James Warner hurriedly visited Oregon and found his parent who, thirty years ago, had quarrelled with his wife and left her and five children in the Kansas Orphan Asylum.
