Apply Wybcr, ITnrclyst,' ' CITY OF NELSON TVTOTTCE is hereby given that the Nelson City Council at a Special Meeting on the 2nd day of December* 1927, passed the following resolution ‘ Thai the ffelsori (City Council m exer cise* of the powers vested in it by the Local Authorities Empowering (Relief of Unemployment) Act 1927, the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, and of aTT other statutory-' authority (if any) hereby resolves as follows: (1) That the said Council proceed to rmse a Special Loan for a sum of (2) That the particular purpose of the loan be for providing relief of unemployment. • , (3) That the particular work to be carried out by means of the loan be the construction' of a sceiiic roadway to bo known as the Queen’s DrivA' (4) That thp loan bo raised by the issue of three debentures of One hundred, pounds eacli with relative coupons attached. • • (5) . That thd interest payable on the said loan be as a rate not exceeding Five pounds ten shillings per centum per annum. (6) That the (term of the loan be a term not exceeding twelve years. (7) That a sinking fund of not less than Six pounds thirteen shillings and four pence per centum per annum be provided for the purpose of paying off the loan at maturity. (8) That as security for payment of the annual interest and ; sinking fund charges a Special Rate be levied of. an amount sufficient to •pay such interest and'sinking fund charges with ten per centum added thereto. (9) That the cost of raising the loan • and the' first year’s interest and sinking fund be not paid out of the loan.
