TALMERSTON N., 30th Oct. A heavy gale this morning blew a iean-to ai the old gas works over the main building, iron and timber being earned several chains, and some falling in Main street. Luckily no one was in the path of the debris, which in places smashed telephone lines. One. piece of iron was found near the railway line. Fences were damaged in other parts of the town.
