CANTERBURY CHAMPIONSHIP [Doited Freii ADeoelaDon.) CHRISTCHURCH, 30th Oct. The Canterbury clay-bird championship of 21 birds, this being the first competition for the title, resulted: —W. J. Robertson, R. M'llrick, H. Grenall, A. Graham, and N'. B. Morrow being 20 each. In the shoot-off Grenall won on the twentieth bird. The open handicap resulted in W. J. Robertson and J. Demspey scoring the possible, 16, and dividing the prize.
