(United Press Association), GISBORNE. 27th Oct. Arrangements in connection with the funeral of the late Sir .Tames Gar roll are now being completed. Most of the Native tribes on the eastern side of the North Island have sent delegations to express sympathy with Lady Carroll. Tomorrow the Ngati Rnngi trike (Tattranga), Ngati Awa (Whakatane), Ara.was (Rotorua), and Tuhoes (Liewent Courtly) will arrive in Gisborne. Intimation has been received that various local bodies and public institutions will have representatives at the funeral. In accordance with Maori custom the Maori mourners will lake up a position at. the burial ground and await the arrival of the body. The order of the cortege has been tentatively arranged, pending the receipt of fuller intimation from local bodies and institutions which intend to he represented. The place of interment is private ground a few miles outside Gisborne.
